YZ250F rebuild success!

Grandson started the bike after top end rebuild. No oil or coolant leaks. Success!

Lifan 125 engine

Replaced my grandson's SSR 125 pit bike original engine with this Lifan 1P52FMI-K. It fit perfectly (had to slightly spread the motor mount on the frame). Could not use the old front sprocket since this had a bigger (better) shaft, so since this sprocket was for 428 chain (which I prefer anyway) I bought a 428 chain to replace the old 420, and a new 41 tooth rear sprocket for 428 to replace the original 37 tooth. I had to look online a bit to find out how to wire it (From the CDI: blk/red to the stator, blk/yel to spark coil, wht/blk to kill button, blu/wht to pick-up coil, and green ground to each). The extra wires are lighting and battery charging for bikes needing that. This engine is much beefier, and has thick, solid mounts in place of the soft rubber mounted tubes which the original SSR had.Starts 1st kick every time and runs great! *** Thank you ***
