Great all around radio
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I've had cb radios for over 40 years and have owned mostly Cobra units for over the road driving, but when they eventually fail, a Uniden fills the spot and works perfect every time. I had a 510XL for 30 years and it finally gave up on me last week, so I knew I had to get another one and of course the 520XL is a bit nicer and has a few more features. Its compact size makes it perfect for swapping in and out of vehicles with no problem. You can spend a lot more on the same technology, but why?

Nylon Leatherman case
I've purchased this product several times over the last 35 years and I have yet to find a better option. I've tried the leather design but the leather belt loop eventually dries out and falls apart. That's the nice thing about the nylon construction. It will endure a lot of abuse and at worst the velcro will wear out but for as cost effective as these are, just buy another one. For me, they typically last 5-7 years, depending on use and abuse of course.
