Fantastic fast lens
21 von 22 finden das hilfreich This lens is a complete gem. It works exceedingly well in low light and to my mind is a worthy upgrade from the lowly 50mm f/1.8 Canon lens. The build is far sturdier, it has a metal mount, a seven leaf aperture, regular 58mm filter thread and it is nicely balanced when used with a 400D or similar camera. I really liked my f/1.8, but I have to say that this 50mm f/1.4 USM lens puts it in the shade. It has a beautiful bokeh when used on wide aperture, and takes fab photos by candlelight at ISO 1600. Well worth the price tag of approx 3 times the f/1.8, in my opinion. I paid £185 for mine, used, but in perfect condition, complete with a Hoya Pro UV filter. This lens has not been off the camera since I bought it, months ago, although I have 3 other zoom lenses. It's versatility is remarkable. A very positive addition to my photography kit. Go for it! Vibrant little floor rugs
A lovely hard wearing rug, in very jolly colours and a funky Aztec style pattern. Extremely good value, I highly recommend it. I bought two, one has pride of place in my "music room" and the other is happy in the spare bedroom. So far I have absolutely no complaints. They really brighten up the place

Spectacular Valve Sound From A Solid State Amp
Remarkable new technology from Fender has recreated the classic tube amp from the 60s without any tubes and weighing half as much as the original. The thing sounds amazing, truly indistinguishable from the original that it was modelled on. I have been a lifelong advocate of valve amps for a great sound, but this has made me turn a corner. In addition to all the original features on the front panel, this baby being digital has added a few extra features round the back, including a 5 way attenuation switch, allowing one to switch from the full 22w down to 0.2w (bedroom level!) and a balanced XLR line out with Impulse response and level control. Far out!
