Prisoner of Zenda--1937/1952
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich These two movies represent Hollywood at its "heroic" best. R. Coleman in the '37 movie is wonderful--as well as the supporting cast. S. Granger in the '52 version is also great--along with the later cast. The story of an English "cousin" helping an eastern European monarch retain his throne is fairly well known. Both movies do a good job of portraying the story with sufficient action--for the time--as well as a good script for each. The villains and their "minions" are done very well. Great movies!!!

Great Small Pocket Knife
I like to carry a pocket knife--never know when you will need one. I have and use the Wenger Teton--a larger and heavier pocket knife but quite usable. The 2 functions I use mainly are the knife blade and the scissors. The Esquire has a smaller blade and the same size of scissors. Being smaller than the Teton, makes a difference in my pocket. Both make great carrying knives.

Land of the Pharoahs
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a great "swords and sandals" movie from Hollywood of the 1950's. The backdrop is the building of the great pyramid. There are some very good actors in this film. The British actor Jack Hawkins plays the pharaoh and Joan Collins plays his cheating wife. A love triangle really plays well with the building of this pyramid in the background. Costumes and sets are done well. Not a "C.B. DeMille" epic, but good nevertheless.
