Helpful, practical books to get RESULTS

How many books have you bought then read the first few pages or the first few chapters and said, "Oh, okay, that's helpful" and then you just stopped. You won't do that with this book.
I would tell myself, "Oh, I'll just read this chapter before I go to my meeting." And then, I would find myself saying, "I'll just peek at the next chapter" and then I had to force myself to put it down.
This book gives practical advice that you can implement tomorrow morning at 8 AM. (No, the book isn't magic. You have to do the work he outlines!) More importantly, after I've implemented what he outlines (in simple, ordinary user-friendly terms) I've gotten better results.
I read business books all the time. This is among the best I've ever read. Miller is a genius who conveys his instruction in a simple easy-to-follow manner.

Kuby's book would be hard to beat.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Some years ago, the late Janis Kuby established the gold standard for college text books on immunology. In this 4th edition, her work has been carefully preserved by her colleages. Although complex information is presented, Kuby's writing style is very easy to read. The book is logically organized with color illustrations, and a gold mine of basic information on immunology. All serious students of immunology, whether they are fledgling students or seasoned professionals--will find this book a must-have resource. Forget other books on the same topic, unless you want to be bored, lost, and frustrated. Kuby starts at the beginning, and relates each new concept to previous ones. This book goes to the clinical "so what" in a scientific way. (I purchased it on Ebay because the price was a fraction of what I could find elsewhere!)
