"Brimstone", Robt. B. Parker's 3rd Western novel.....
If you're a fan of Robert B. Parker's 'Spenser' series of detective novels, and a fan of Westerns, too, then you're in for a real treat in his novels featuring Everett n' Hitch, the 2 protagonists of 'Appaloosa', 'Resolution' and now 'Brimstone'. There will be one final episode in this series, due for release this month (May 2010), which I believe is entitled 'Blue-Eyed Devil'. Since Parker's untimely demise recently, I am eagerly looking forward to this last "chapter" about Hitch and Everett and their steely-eyed exploits....not just good versus evil, but also right against wrong, greed & power-hungry folks. This series is not just a set of novels, but is also a character study of human nature, and the things that make people do what they do ~ read 'em all; you won't be disappointed!!!

Two thumbs up, for 'Hotel CA'!!
This a Great CD, & I think my Favorite song on it was 1 had only heard a couple times before...can't recall Ever hearing it on the radio, back in the day. Perhaps the message in "The Last Resort" resonates more today, than it did back then. At any rate, a really good disc...it's All I've been listening to since it arrived!! (;

Very well Titled!!
One of Doiron's best so far!! Very compelling reading, a real page-turner! Lots of false leads, red herrings, & cold trails ~ I couldn't put it down (:
