I'm a longtime DR user and switched to these after using stainless steel Lo-Riders for the past year. I'm really impressed! These have more low-end heft and midrange presence, with very articulate, smooth highs. I love the tone, very punchy with an awesome balance from string to string. The feel is somewhere between stainless and nickel, just right. Highly recommended!

Best thermometer for the money
This is my second RT600C. The first one lasted about 5 years, which is excellent for a $20 thermometer. Reads quickly, super accurate compared to a Thermapen, and batteries last forever. Highly recommend.
