Worth the extra!
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I’d had my Student 1 for around 20 years and decided to upgrade to the Student 2.
The main difference - the tone. It has a much deeper, richer, smoother sound than the Student 1 (in my opinion). The colour is also beautiful and just looks much improved.
Thr only downside I’ve found is the bow - I’ve lost 4 hairs already removing it from the case, but could be more my technique.

Lovely ornament
Lovely ornament, very quirky and a talking piece! Quite heavy and looks more expensive than it was.
Strong cord for hanging which is already attached.
Only observation is that the colour is not all black, it’s black with a browny/bronze on top.
However, still really pleased.
