Fact filled book as described in title.
This book was used by elementary teachers as part of a unit that made the connection between Quakers and their role in American colonization. To integrate learning between social studies and music, a song about Quakers was taught by the music teacher; she needed a brief, concise introduction on Quakers for the 2nd grade. This book enabled students to make historical connections as they gained knowledge of the facts, visualized the context from the illustrations, and sang the song with greater meaning because of these connections.
