Considering it's size and purpose, the light output is quite good with a large beam spread. I've been using Stedi flood pattern lights around my house (yes, my house) for dusk to dawn security lighting. (Solar powered and automated dusk dawn switching.) The rock lights are each mounted on the eaves above the garage roller doors.

Great light output and broad horizontal spread of light. Limiting the vertical beam angle works really well for improving the distance these can throw light.
(I'm actually using them around the eaves of my house to provide dusk to dawn security lighting.)
