I love my baby dino!
Soooooo! This mystery machine lol... I love it but requires A LOT of research in 2024. Make sure to get a card reader and rewritable card that is compatible with this machine. More than likely the Brother PED Basic kit, which is to date now.
Once you get your card reader and card, you are good to go! As a beginner, this machine is so easy to get around, it gives you time to learn the basics before jumping into the big machines.
The hoop size is 4x4 but with research you can expand and divide designs to be one big design. Like I said, this machine will give you a learning curve.
The touchscreen is cute and works efficiently, the instructions are CLEAR... make sure you download and read the manual through and through.
The bobbin winder is a bit tricky but once you get a handle on it, it works nicely. Make sure to wind your thread around the disk a couple times to create tension so that your bobbin doesn't wind loosely. That works for me, every time.
Make sure to test tension to get the best results for you.
All in all for the $$$, I am in love with this machine and can't wait to learn more from it.
