Solid Bench Drill
This bench drill is lightweight but very solid & compact. The spring loaded hand wheel gives positive feedback, once you get used to it. (I have been used to using conventional rack & pinion driven drill handles for the last 40 years).
The accuracy and run out on the chuck/spindle is very good, even for drilling accurate hole positions in steel.
The Laser is a good feature when aligning holes that require drilling diametrically opposite. Although when you use an extended drill chuck one side of the laser is blocked out.
The work light is very bright which saves putting on the garage lights on a dull day.
A little bit pricey for a bench drill but overall if it proves to be reliable for a couple of years it will have been worth it.
