Massive, and FAST, enterprise class!
This drive is nothing short of amazing. As a builder of large residential media servers, we have tried & used a lot of drives over the years. This is the fastest, most consistent-performing drive we have ever encountered. The first screenshot is a simple performance test, and does not do justice to how the drive performs under sustained full-load. In the second screenshot, you can see two drives performing a random reinitialization of the entire disk surface, or “stress test”. The top test is running on an 8TB Seagate BarraCuda, the bottom test the 10TB HGST He drive. The connection is via a SATA2 expansion card on an older Intel machine. Note that the Seagate test was started about 4 minutes before HGST, and the corresponding speeds and run times. Despite being 2TB larger than the 8TB Seagate, the 10TB HGST is FLYING through the test and completed in nearly half the time! Also note the number of dark green squares on the grid of the Seagate test; those are lower-performing sectors all over the disk surface. (On other Seagate disks, we encountered even more of them!) Yet on the HGST test, there are almost none even as the test is nearing completion. Truly an enterprise-class step above a traditional consumer drive.

Next best thing to wireless charging.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich These cables are awesome, no more broken tips or charge ports. Magnets are strong and the tips are non-directional once they are inserted into your device, will click-in and charge in either position. There is also a tiny LED in the plug at the device end that lights up blue when power is present, and red when your attached device is charging or drawing current. Super hi-tech looking, the only improvement would be is if they were offered in other lengths, like 6 and 10 feet. For now I’ll just use a USB extension cable with it.
*Update. The iPad Pro 10.5 and the iPad Pro 12.9 second gen. do not charge with this cable after initial connection is broken. They will only charge upon first insertion, after that, if plug is removed without the tip (as in normal operation), charging will nor commence after connection is re-established.

Pointless, save your money.
Ran a couple different stress tests on a brand new Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB, reaching up to 145° without and 147° with the heatsink installed. So if anything, it spreads the heat but does not dissipate it. It’s simply too thin, might as well be an adhesive-backed copper foil.
