Military conflict among mixed cultures
AT this point in my reading of family history, this book gave to me the best summary of the Balkan situation every found. Then it clearly explained how the Prinz Eugen Division originated. The book uses very few adjectives. Instead it is quite blunt in telling the story of a confusing situation that is this part of the world. Excellent story telling mixing military history with the mixed culture of this border region.
