I live in Central Florida which is more about oak trees than palm trees. I have an african spurthighed tortoise, cats, birds and turtles. I paint from life and I love watercolor but am learning to love oils, mixed media, journaling & wax encaustics.

social network movie dvd set
the movie is pretty well written even if the real Sean Parker doesn't think so. The dvd set has tons of interviews with all the actors and they are very candid. the behind the scene stuff on the sets and the story and the writer himself are quite interesting.

it's Magical
Kate DiCamillo's book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is technically a children's book but it has such a wonderful story and such truly beautiful artwork that any adult will be charmed and possibly quite emotional by the story's end. I know I actually wept (and I'm not a cryer.)
I highly recommend Kate DiCamillo's books and especially this wonderful magical book. It's a children's classic.
