U.S. Art Supply 15" High Aluminum Tabletop Display Easel with Collapsible Foldin

For lightweight uses only!

I expected the easel to be a more heavyweight item, but it is a very lightweight structure. It would be fine for a picture or display sign, but I bought it for a marker board and the board is just too heavy for the easel. The legs of the easel are not very firmly attached, but if they break, it could be repaired by putting a bolt through the attachment. All that being said, I am using it until I can buy a heavier, more well made easel.

brand does matter!

I own several of these battery powered scarecrows. All are Contech brand and have worked for years. This particular one is an off brand model that broke after only 5 days in the garden. I was attempting to make a slight adjustment in the direction of the spray head and the entire head broke off. Lesson learned! Buy the name brand - it will be worth it in the end.

Captivating account

This book was very hard to put down. Although incredibly heartbreaking to read about the terrible suffering endured by the people of Halifax, the small incidents and attitudes that led to such a disaster are clearly described by the author. He does a tremendous job of relaying the war time atmosphere that played such an important role in the disaster. It was heartwarming to read about all of the ways people from 2 nations came together across the border to aid the citizens of Halifax and to remember that after 9-11, the Canadians had a chance to repay that kindness to America
