Subtle but excellent
Don’t expect the Session DI to change your tone in a major way. It’s the kind of think you miss when it’s not there.
The compression is the best out there in pedal form for the acoustic. The saturate thickens out the tone.
The lo-cut selector is very useful as is the notch.
Love that it can be powered by phantom, battery or mains. It is also built like a tank and comes with a nice case.
My only minor complaint is I wish that the XLR out wasn’t on top of the pedal.

Great sounding preamp
Works nice with my acoustic pickups - soundhole and K&K. Well made although I’m not a huge fan of how the battery fits into the preamp! Be prepared to pay customs charges but still works out cheaper than buying from UK.

Improves all 3 of my pickups
As per the title. I have 2 under saddle pickups and a Baggs M1A soundhole pickup. The effect is subtle and you notice it more when it's gone. The notch filter is very effective as is the variable low cut filter
