CLR2000 does everything you want -- get one.
I bought the CLR2000 as the center in my surround system which includes the Def Tech 7001C towers. The center is superb in every way. It has its own small sub included, which helps the center to balance well with the towers. If you're going to get one, get this one -- no point in skimping on the center, where the vast majority of sounds comes from in many shows. However, I will say that if you have the magnificent bi polar towers, you may find that you don't even need a center at all. That's how I feel -- the towers are spectacular, and the center is a welcome addition, but I would not call it essential

Nice upgrade vs stock speaker in Fender Champ XD
Vs the stock speaker in my Superchamp XD (upgraded with JJ tubes), the Copperhead is better in virtually all respects. Punchier and more responsive to picking and fingerpicking (greater attack), my amp now has a slightly hotrodded feel. Bass response is far better. More clarity when chording across the board. Highs I felt were already pretty good with the stock speaker, so I would say there's a small improvement in the highs, but not much. I don't get any 'chimey" or bell tones from this current set up,but that's about the only thing its lacking. Don't hesitate. If you want to upgrade from a stock Fender speaker, you'll do well with this one.
