too much of a good thing
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich nice Idea, however the amount of compensation built into the offset string contact points exceeds the necessary "normal rule of thumb" adjustment that would be required to accurately intonate the instrument. consequently, it remains a compromise adjustment since any one string on a shared saddle will always be just a little sharp while the other is still slightly flat. the product needs some fine tuning in the design to more accurately allow correct intonation for the most common gauges ie: .009 to .042 or .010 to .046. so, while the basic concept addresses the issue of traditional "vintage" saddles being difficult/impossible to intonate, this product has taken the amount of built-in compensation just a little too far to be accurate enough for professional use. somewhat disappointing.
