Worth the read, lots of "small print"
combo of background -- good for HBO's series -- and for old DC Heroes RPG; however does not use WEG's DG, as other sourcebbooks, but Mayfair's more elaborate table-lookup heavy system.

Okay under the circumstances
Good book, less than it could be on account of abridgment & narration by Hiilerman rather than George Guidal, who's done all of the unabridged versions. Solid quality on the commercial audio casettes, though content does not fit well in c.40 minute groups.
Sadly there appears to be no unabridged audio version of this novel,
