Rugged Meter for the Times

This unit is solidly built with an armored screen as well as a rubberized bumper case. The case also has a foot to prop it up on your bench. It makes for a great bench tool and the only complaint I have is that it does not have an option for a backlight. When working in dimmer light that could be a real handy extra to have. Other wise this DMM is filled with extras like temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit and is capable of testing capacitors, diodes, and resistors. All in all it is a great unit for the price.

Great little tool

I like my boards to be as precise as possible and this tool makes that happen. It's no were near required but it makes my stuff OCD precise and I like that.

Battery Works

I have not tested it for actual capacity yet but it does function where others have not. The most common problem is that the computer that this is fore uses a lot of power and the last battery I ordered had a control board that shut down the power at around 4A and the computer uses around 8A off the mains so the batteries which are a slightly lower voltage than the mains pack is going to be a higher draw then that most likely. Unless on battery you shunt everything to total power save mode.
