Criterion gives us Othello!
Orson Welles spent a few years (taking acting jobs, blah, blah, blah, you all know this.) but one of those acting jobs is a companion to "Othello" on disc two "Ghost Story" (28 min HD)
I used to watch a warm out VHS with my mother around Halloween every year of ghost story. It's one of the better special features you can get these days.
The film other went through some changes. Basically typical Welles stuff. So included in two HD versions of this overlooked masterpiece.
While all Welles completists will buy this, it's far too good for Welles fans alone.

Vivien Leigh Classics (2003, DVD)
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I'm glad AMC brought these classic fuils to us in america to view, otherwise they would not be able to be appritiated by us fans of classic film. The treatment of the picture is good for it's age as well, as well as the sound.

Apocalyptic brilliance for an 80's TV movie.
This is a great tv movie about the day after all out nuclear war. This movies follows a couple families as they struggle to survive. "The Day After" 1985 is a tame family friendly remake of the more graphic and intense BBC shocker "Threads" 1984, although ABC set up a 1-800 number for people to call if they had trouble with the movie. The DVD offers a 1.33:1 fullscreen presentation with a very good print, giving a beautiful prestine look on DVD. This movie is widely available and can be found from $5-$10 on the Internet.
