Kawasaki ZX6R NINJA J1-J2 2000/02' Dynojet Kit - stage 1 (DJK-2188)

Always thought they didn't work!!!

Well I've a J2 Zx6r and wanted better throttle response. Thought I'd give this, a k & n filter and already got slip on pipe. Fitted and had slight running problem. Phoned Dynojet UK and they are super helpful. Ended up being the fuel mixture. Standard is 3 turns out, dynojet in instructions say 3 and half turns out. With some fine tuning, 3 and just under a quarter runs brilliant. Can honestly say throttle response is alot better. Starting is much easier as well. The old carb Zx6r is well known for being a pain to start cold however now is much better. Also engine runs cooler. Running on a hot day all day down a motorway at around 83 degree c. Very very happy and wouldn't hesitate in putting this in another carb bike. If it was fuel injection I'd give their dyno command a go..

Great product but you don't get alot!!!

OK so no room for errors here. I read the instructions very carefully. It said you can make between 2-3 pairs of ear plugs. I think that's nonsense. 2 pairs max your gonna get. I messed the first one up. The product when mixed goes hard alot quicker than their suggested 30-45 seconds. Mix it and get it in your ear quickly. Ive ended up with one and a half pairs lol!!!Saying that they are great. Even if you get one pair I think they are great value. Fantastic fit and the best ear plugs I've used..
