Great GG1 for the price and includes sounds
Mechanically is works great and maneuvers around 18 inch curves. It's leading truck can be sensitive to switch tracks, so insure your switches are flat and aligned properly. Sound is nice with function controls 1 through 6 although you need to guess what functions 4 through 6 represent. For example, 6 produces a chugging sound that you would expect on a steam locomotive? The CV's include a master volume control along with individual volume controls for each sound. You will need to look on the Bachmann web site for a CV list. The only thing that irked me was that Bachmann does't seem to feel it necessary to provide more detailed information about CV's on any of their DCC products and this engine is no exception. Overall it's a great engine for the price.
