A little battery tester in the boot is always a handy tool to have.
For anyone just starting out with cars or you want to do the work yourself here's a few points.
There aren't really instructions on the box on how to use it so here it goes.
First off connect the negative clip to the battery, then take the positive probe to the positive terminal of your car battery. This will give the voltage of the battery at that time.
To test the alternator you want to start the car, repeat above. You now have the alternator voltage.
Unless your car is from around the 1960's or so your car is going to be negative ground/earth.
Results came back fine with my cars charging system, battery would drop to 12.0V if left for nearly 2 weeks.
A good simple tool at a good price, though wouldn't pay much more. Only gives battery and alternator voltage. More fancy testers are available, but then you are paying a lot more for mechanic tools. General motorist, this tester is alright.

It's ok & peace of mind
For £30 it's alright, though from the Stop Lock brand I would have hoped for slightly better finish. The ends of the metal frame could have done with a silicone or rubber cover to protect the car from scratches and knocks (personal idea). Might fit a 16" wheel though I cannot give that as a definite (seems like the adjustment bar could go that size). It just about fits a 205/65 R15 acceptably with little luck of it slipping off, though the holes in the silver bar could have been spaced a little closer for a tighter fit and better size adjustment. Would recommend that the key barrel gets some silicone spray occasionally as i'm not sure exactly how water proof the cover is. Hopefully a good visual deterrent to back up the cars built in old style immobiliser key & alarm system. Potentially good investment for people with key-less entry systems (push button start) than an unprotected example down the street. Just watch your fingers when fitting.

Fresh AC/heater again.
Fits Toyota Camry 1997 SVX20 cabin filter absolutely fine. Nice filter material. Original inside my car was over 20 years old, collected a lot of dirt in that time. Now the climate control system smells good as new.
