Good - but not necessarily dimmable!
In most respects these were exactly what we wanted as an economical and brighter option to replace existing 25W halogens in a floor lamp. We can live with them, but beware if you expect to use them with a dimmer control.
In our case, the lamp has two heads, each with a dimmer but no independent on/off switch. With halogens, we could turn one bulb off if not needed - simply by twisting the dimmer control to minimum. With these LEDs, the bulb flickers as the dimmer is rotated and dims only slightly even with the control at minimum. Maybe they work better with a special LED dimmer, but we can't change the one built into the lamp.

Nice alarm - shame about the limited space for wiring.
Good that it has a lifetime rechargeable battery and can be interlinked with other alarms from the same manufacturer. We previously had a life-expired CO alarm from Aico in a smaller square format. I realise they've now gone for the same plug-in base as their smoke and heat alarms, but was disappointed that the space for wiring was much smaller than in our previous installation. It was a real fiddle trying to squeeze 2 x 1.5mm2 3 + Earth into the space provided.
