Intermatic contactor in plug-and-play format with too much plastic
shipper was accurate in sharing product details through a combination of pictures and technical specs. the bulk of the device is plastic so sun will cause it to fall apart, keeping in mind it is not waterproof. this one came with the two sets of timer function pins but they are frail so they could be lost easily. If someone sells these for $20 then I thought it worth a trial when installed in a easily accessible and protected location. The vague distinction of the "C" on the part number is frustrating because intermatic has no documentation and many vendors dont accurately report the part numbers on the item for sale.
This unit has successfully tolerated the motor startup surge from a two HP pump motor.

new old stock from the garage can be a good deal
standard canon product, works well, age from new old stock seems to have no impact on performance.
