System was pretty easy to figure out. Had everything set up and recording in less than an hour (more time needed depending on how you have to route your wires or experience with such items. Once set up, maybe another hour to go through the setup, figure out what recording method is for you. The alarm setting is very sensitive if you live on an area with lots of flying bugs. It does a lot of the system maintenance on its own, so it seems easier to manage storage. It will auto write over, and I just let it record all the time. Play back seemed very easy too. I have yet to try and move video content to another source , but based on everything else so far, I can’t imagine it’s hard. If you have any savvy with electronics you can figure this system out without even looking at the book. Found the instructions to be just ok, but the system itself pretty easy to navigate. Day time bison is really really good. Cameras pick up great range and field of view and full color. Night vision is black and white but with almost no light whatsoever on the back of my property, it’s like you can still see everything. Very impressed. Bout my only complaint which isn’t even that big of deal is cameras are only dual axis, but just means you have to be a little more precise with mounting. I would highly recommend this system for sure. I can’t imagine anything at this price point being much better. I spent another 140 on a nice vizio monitor and between picture and the zoom, very impressed. Can zoom in real time or in playback. Can also set each cameras field of view alarm to close of section of what the cameras see individually. Found that feature very advanced when view covers other person property and you only want to activate the view up to theirs. Haven’t seen that on other systems
