Awesome for the price
I replaced the the subs in my BP7004 towers with these and they now play lower and cleaner. These units have beautiful cast frames and huge magnets(shielded).
They are less efficient than the original stamped basket woofers and I had the increase the gain on the 7004's amps.

Undersized.
Too small to fit the genaric 6.5 inch cardboard tube enclosures:( I would call this a 6.25 inch woofer. Bought a Tang Band (5X the $)and it fits perfectly. It's what I should have done in the first place instead of wasting money on this driver.

It is new
I bought one listed as new and it is new. The sticker says Manufact. date is 4/2020 and it has a bigger keyboard and a smooth top cover(I liked the faux leather of the old model). I suspect all the guts are the same and even though the design is 5 or 6 years old, it;s still good enough for streaming/browsing. I actually wanted something newer w/ a larger screen, but it's hard to find a plain, simple Chromebook with a HDMI out. Nobody ever mentioned it, but these K05US's have great wifi reception. I must like these little Chromebooks, this is my third one(The other two are still working, but one is glitchy w/ it's HDMI out).
