Wonderful story, poor quality copy
I read this sweet story to our sons a million times when they were young, and they were always riveted. It was their hands-down favorite. So now I wanted to share it with a young preschooler cousin and was happy to find it. BUT - I was disappointed in the condition of the book, with seriously worn corners and obvious signs of use, almost as if a dog had used it as a chew toy.
