Made in Spain

This "genuine"Bosch OEM product is actually not made by OE specs. This is manufactured at the dreaded Spanish factory and just as the Spanish distributor caps, this is also lacking the coating which is supposed to insulate further and make these parts glossy and shiny to avoid humidity to find ground and condense. Condensed humidity will in turn cause arcing and poor ignition. (I worked around the problem by coating it my self using high quality high gloss non colored nail polish which I tested to withstand at least 90°C. This suppressor disc also lacks the O-ring which can be seen on the listing picture.

Wrong part number ?

I believe this rod is NOT A1233201489 as stated in the description. Actually A1233201489 looks different than this and is shorter. I bought this in the beliefe it was the A1233201489 for my S124, but I found it was way to long and I had to cut down the center bolt at both ends to make it fit. My suggestion is that this part actually is A2013201489 or A2013200889

Just as described

Fits very well on 2002 C3 1.4i, only maybe the rubber gasket could be slightly thicker so the cap would have a tighter fit. save the rubber from the old cap so you can double it up if nessacary
