Great as a Single, Better as a Pair
I purchased a Home Max months back and loved the sound of the single speaker. Once I found out Google was not making anymore, I bought a second one. They sound fantastic as a pair in stereo. I love the simplicity of the setup, great sound, no lights while in use, no receiver, etc. Just good speakers that you can cast to along with voice commands if you so choose. Two of these can put out a lot of clean volume and can get hit some surprisingly low frequencies. You will not be disappointed.
Side note: I set my EQ down a notch on bass and up a notch on treble. Opens them up a bit.

Perfect fit and looks great
Grille looks great. Installed it on my TSX in place of the last grille and it's a perfect fit.
