My Generation(Deluxe Edition)
I couldn't care less if if the Who disliked this album or not. It was about a "sound". A bunch of kids enamored with soul music. Its spirit is derived from young musicians listening to the "masters". Raw? Yes. Coherent? Yes. Well crafted without being slick? Yup!!! FUN?? Indeed!!! Daltrey's spin on James Brown or Muddy is interestingly sophomoric but cool. Love the Marshalls!! Moonie? AMAZING!!(essentially a snot -nosed teenager with "stupid" dexterity. They all had great ears! Remastering is outstanding. Alternate takes and mono mixes-appreciated. Well,well done! Buy this CD and listen to guys older than their years. Play It Loud!! GREAT r&r!!

Nice recordings. Different takes are interesting. Promised Land Take 5 kills! Part of the reason I purchased this set. He shoulda stayed outta Vegas.......
