The Apple iphone READ BEFORE YOU BUY...MIGHT SAVE YOU!
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich The new Google Maps feature in the 1.1.3 update is AMAZING!!! Its the closest thing to GPS without actually having GPS. The iphone itself has a lot of features and I love the fact that you can play with tons of web apps, google and it can sync quite seemlessly to your Outlook. A few problems with the phone that I have noticed is that for starters it doesn't have a video camera function. It has a great camera that takes awesome pictures, but there is no motion capture feature. If you are specifically looking for that function, you might want to look at another phone. If you use Hotmail or MSN mail as your default mail client, you can not sync it with your iphone even if you already have it synced to Outlook or Outlook Express. You will need a third party webmail client to take on that task. No worries thoug because there are a ton of good ones out there...it would just be nice to tap the email button and it go straight to your Hotmail account. Maybe in a future update!
BEWARE...even if you get an iphone outside of AT&T and you want to sync it to your itunes you will BE FORCED INTO TAKING AN ADDITIONAL $20/MONTH PLAN...AND MADE TO SIGN A NEW 2 YEAR AGREEMENT. This is not fair and could cause a huge problem for some people who are buying unlocked iphones from ebay. I don't know how this will affect people who do not use AT&T for their service provider, but i doubt it can be good!
Other than those few things, the iphone is a great gadget and is very functional. The speakerphone is not very loud, but the normal phone use itself is quite loud and clear. (Just an after thought) ENJOY!!!!
