Man made glass

This is just high quartz glass. Hand faceted and polished, but just fabricated glass. Not mined crystal.

Excellent value, great quality!

I have owned this watch for about 6 months. I was delighted with it since day one. Exceptional quality that can’t be argued. Seiko movement with hand winding and hacking, Sapphire crystal, stainless steel solid (non removable caseback) just like the original tuna diver (if you want to access the movement, it is done through the top of the watch, by removing the crystal). The dial is gorgeous! I love to just look at this watch! Don’t be afraid of the case size if you have small wrists. If you can pull off a Seiko monster, you can wear this watch. Mine constantly keeps great time, only gaining 15 seconds a day. If I wanted to spend the money to have it regulated, it would keep amazing time! Lume is excellent! My only criticism would be that the clasp seems a hair bit flimsy. That said, it has never unlatched on me. So it is solid enough to do its job. It’s just a perceptual thing. I wish it had the day of the week display. I like it so much I may get a bronze model. looks great on my after market strap too!
