Much easier to use than anticipated
Very happy with the kit so far - I've been using it with Kodak Ektar 100 and Agfacolor 200.
The instructions seem to reference doing the development in a rotary tank, but I've been using a Paterson tank that I also use for b+w with no ill effects. I only made up half of the working solution initially, and protect the rest with a can of compressed air (the propane/butane keyboard cleaning air cans you get in your local electrical shop are the same stuff as Tetenal Protectan, and much cheaper). Only problem is that I've got 500ml of each working solution, and would really need 600ml to do more than one roll at a time in a 2 reel tank.
I'd argue that this is easier to work with than black and white dev, as you've fewer variables - just make sure that your timing is good, and you've planned out everything in advance so that you don't go over time (I use post-its on the wall so I don't have to look at the manual while working). There's talk in forums of using aquarium heaters and stuff to maintain an accurate temperature - I just keep the chemicals and first rinse in a bucket of water at the correct temperature, and it works fine, with no colour casts.
Can't recommend it enough.
