Using These Bearings To Rebuild Our Inpact Sprinklers
I have been using these bearings to rebuild our irrigation system impact sprinklers for several years now.
I bought used wheel lines and they all have the sprinklers reefed down so tight, the sprinklers are almost impossible to remove. I had to develop a process to rebuild our sprinklers. At first, I virtually had to let the sprinkler wear through the bearing assembly to total failure. I now remove the leveler and the sprinkler as a unit and use a band saw to cut the bearing assembly off. I use a pipe wrench to remove the tube from the upper part of the sprinkler and an impact wrench to remove the sprinkler base from the leveler. I then replace the bearing assembly with the parts I get from Sprinkler Innovations. If the leveler needs rebuilding, I use parts I get from Sprinkler Innovations to do that also.
I have yet to have a failure of these bearing assemblies after 5 years of using them. These are high quality parts and they are reasonably priced. Using my process and these parts, it takes about 10 minutes to replace the bearing assembly and about 5 minutes to rebuild the leveler. I replace them on the wheel lines as a unit and it takes less than 5 minutes. I might add that the sprinklers I'm rebuilding are probably more than 20 years old. They were well made and access to these parts help me keep them going at a reasonable cost.

Used this to calbibrate my reloading scale
