It's a Good Read!
Leaving Home is part of the Sweet Valley High series aimed at the young adult reader.
Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield are Identical twins but have very different personalities. Elizabeth is "serious" and hardworking while Jessica is more impulsive.
Elizabeth, an aspiring writer, decides to go for a scholarship to study creative writing at an exclusive boarding school in Switzerland, which she believes will provide the perfect inspiration for her writing. But it starts the summer after her junior year at high school and ends at graduation her senior year.
This is much to the dismay of her family and friends,especially her twin Jessica, who a cannot bear to spend a whole year away from her sister, so she plots with their brother Steven to stop her from leaving Sweet Valley.
The subject matter of leaving home and going away from family and friends is dealt with in quite an honest and detailed manner especially regarding the feelings of everyone involved. Perhaps there could have been a little more emphasis on loved ones making it more easier for a young person to take a good opportunity to develop themselves or their career.
On the whole, an enjoyable read.

Fabulous doll
This doll is so glamorous, with long luscious hair and big gown, reminiscent of how barbie dolls used to be. The golden theme from head to toe is just amazing.
