Best Stearman Kit I've seen

I've always wished for a 1/32 scale Stearman kit and Roden has finally come through for me. The kit is extremely detailed even down to simulated fabric covering and rib stitching, neither of which is overdone as on some models. All the llittle details are there and the parts fit seems very good. The price was great compared to many recent releases that are considerably more expensive. Shipping was fairly quick and the kit was well protected in a secondary box. All in all a nice find!

Good product as described

The equalizer arrived quickly and was as advertised. The "minor blemishes" mentioned in the description consisted of bent rack mount tabs which were straightened without much trouble. The rest of the product, including the manual and guide were functionally as new. The equalizer has all the features of much more costly models. I don't know if the specs are up to studio quality standards, but for home use to balance the audio on my flat screen TV it works great.

Half As Many

The pro is that the part is a genuine Saito replacement part that fits and works as it should. The con is that the photo shows 4 Teflon retainers and the Saito package only contains 2. I don't believe that was mentioned in the text. Either the photo should be changed to show the actual Saito package or the body text should reflect the fact that there are only 2 included. At any rate , the engine only requires one retainer since the wrist pin is retained on one end by a shoulder machined in the wrist pin hole.
