Sharp EL-733A Financial Calculator is easy to use, better than the newer EL-738 model that requires many more steps to do the same thing and is more confusing to use.
The Sharp EL-733A is one of the best financial calculators you can get and it has a 10 digit display. There is a button for NPV, PV,FV, Paymt i and n and it is very accurate, you can set the number of decimal pts you would like from 0 to 9. It need s 2 small LR-44 batteries that you can get from a dollar store and use a small screwdriver to open the back of the calculator to install.
It is small with a cover and can easily fit in a pocket. It is exactly what is approved for writing most Management (cost) Accounting and Finance courses. It has a handy on & off button and automatically turns off after a certain time.

The Pioneer DVR-560H 1080P HDMI 160GB is a good dvd recorder with a large hd.
The remote can't open the dvd tray, you need to physically press the open/eject button. Can record from DVD to HD and vise versa, can connect a vhs recorder to play a vhs and record onto the DVD recorder and can then create a DVD disc but can't save it to the USB even though the recorder has a usb port it is only for software updates, too back we can't record or copy from the usb directly otherwise recorder works fine.
