Chrome from the early days of farm toys

Never knew there was a combine in chrome produced that long ago. Today a lot of chrome and gold plated toys are being made, but back then it was one of a few. Probably issued in the seventies, this model of a Case combine has been around for many years (in red offcourse..). I remember being toured in the Dyersville Ertl plant, where the proces of chrome plating was done and demonstated on several parts, not as big as this whole combine though. This was in the early 90's. It is a complicated proces, not just a matter of paint.
