Get Great Skies in Tri-X!!
You just can’t go wrong with a Tiffen filter! I prefer using stronger filters for monochrome films—especially Fuji Acros 100, which seems to not respond to the effects of contrast filters as much as classic emultions like HP-4 or Tri-X. Nor do I care to tote 20 different colors and strengths of filters across the planet, so it’s just Deep Yellow #15, Deep Orange #21, and Deep Red #29 for me. And a #11 Yellow-Green to darken skin tones while lightening foliage in outdoor portraits. Tiffen makes great filters, here in the U.S. and are reasonably priced; what’s not to love?!

Great, Useful, Filter
Tiffen filters, made in the USA, represent a fine value, professional filter suitable for any photo/video use. I compare them equally with more expensive brands and in 40 years of amateur work, have never had a failure with one. If Tiffen makes a filter you think would have an effect you desire, don’t spend extra money for a higher-end brand.
This Wratten Yellow №8 is great for balancing the color response of traditional black & white panchromatic films like Tri-X that tends to remain a tad more blue sensitive than one might prefer. Fuji Acros doesn’t seem to respond as strongly as more traditional emulsions and I can’t personally testify as to the effects of contrast filters on T-grain films.
If you’re using a Tiffen, any issues will be the film.

Great 35mm rangefinder!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Lens at least as good as Leica, perfect normal for full-frame 35mm. It was made specifically for this camera: tear element close to film, entire assembly focuses on its helicoid, like a view camera. Has onboard spot meter. Not built as strongly as a Leica, and lens is fixed. But image quality is unmatchable, if you learn to visualize your images with the focal length. Very happy with mine, after years with SLRs. Good scans with negs should make for outstanding prints at a small fraction of full-frame digital costs (if time is not a factor).
