Bertie Wooster Sees It Through (A Jeeves and Bertie Novel)

Jeeves and Wooster stories

Whether this is universally true, I couldn't say, but I certainly know several people who thoroughly enjoy the Jeeves and Wooster stories. Waugh wrote many short stories about the predicaments into which Bertie Wooster lands and Jeeves' ability to "save the day". Waugh also wrote several novel length adventures of the two and this is one of them. The longer stories are as enjoyable as the shorter ones with good plot development. Waugh's delightful humor and unique way of turning a phrase makes each story a delight. This particular edition of the book [Scribner Paperback Fiction] is bound well and is easy to carry around and comfortable to read both with regards to the print size and style and with regard to how well the pages lay when the book is open, by which I mean one doesn't have to "fight" the book to keep it open as one reads. The margins are generous so that the print doesn't run into the spine. However, the buyer should know that the pages will yellow with time. I am not sure under what conditions this happens because the used copy I bought was yellowed when I received it. I have other books from this set and the pages are still very nice.

My granddaughter enjoys using the Funtainer bottle. I do wish it were possible to buy replacements for the straight part of the straw without having to purchase the upper silicone part as well.
