Too small to be of practical use except as letter opener
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The selling image of this "knife" on the rock give the impression that it is a normal seized tanto. It is actually very small and is really only suited as a letter opener. If you go deeper into the seller's description the exact dimensions are given, so perhaps it is not intended to give the wrong impression, but really the title should reflect the small nature of this item, perhaps containing the word miniature. Otherwise, as a miniature tanto it's kind of neat, if you like that sort of thing. I definitely am going to keep it to be used as a letter opener.

Strong construction, razor sharp
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This knife has a very narrow, but solid body that is more comfortable to grip than I would have imagined just looking at it. It came razor sharp and it holds an edge well

Sharp, solid, VERY heavy knife
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I incorrectly assumed based on the title of this listing that the handle or scales were made of titanium and would therefore be light. This is very much not the case. This knife is like a steel block with an edge. That said, I think this knife could take a lot of abuse and keep it together. The titanium is referring to a coating. I honestly have no idea what the purpose of a titanium coating on a stainless steel is, but that's what we are talking about here. I've got a bunch of knives for some reason and this one is definitely the heaviest folder by a lot. Maybe it will grow on me. I wish if it was going to be solid steel that part of it would would be shiny. Another thing about this knife is that it is unusual in that the blade and the handle/scales are made of the same upper medium quality steel. Usually handles are made of a lower quality material. Anyway a little strange but I'll certainly keep it. I don't think it will get a great deal of pocket time. If it had to be used in self defense it could be used as a mean projectile just because of its heft! You could "end him rightly!," as it were lol
