Excellent way to start gaming
This low-cost boxed set provides an excellent starting point for new and experienced players alike. Learning to play the 5th edition is made simple with the short rulebook, excellent starting adventure, and easy to read character sheets. Makes a great gift for new, younger players looking to begin playing this game!

Great addition to my collection!
I purchased this product because the Appendices are hard to find, especially the Forgotten Realms from 1989. This auction had 2 Appendices for the price of one (or less than one really). Sometimes, Monstrous Compendiums come with their binders but some were published without; you have to know which ones have them or don't. These Appendices were in great shape and were a steal for the price. I was glad to add them to my collection.
