Lolin's V3 NodeMCU (ESP-12E) is great!

The single distinct feature that makes this a useful product for me, when compared to other ESP8266 development boards, is that the USB 5v line is brought out to the edge and may be used to drive 5v components (when powered by the USB port). The only downside I've come across is the width of the board. It completely fills the width of a typical breadboard causing one to route jumper wires underneath the PCB. In summary, a great development board.

Adequate

The power supply is adequate given its age. It lacks many of the features of today’s switching power supplies such as keypad input and better stability under load.

Fair scanner, but be warned.

So much I didn't know about barcode scanners. There are multiple versions of this product, so be SURE which model (beyond DS6707) you need. Also be sure to download the Zebra configuration software. My application required QR code scans and it wasn't apparent how I needed the barcode scanner setup. Discovered pretty much through trial and error (the barcode scanner can emulate a keyboard). As to this particular purchase and this product, it functions well, though perhaps a tad slow for QR codes (very noticeable difference between 1D-linear barcodes and 2D barcodes such as QR and Data Matrix).
