Genuine VW Golf mudflaps
VW sell these for £150 fitted. They are simple to fit and a lot cheaper.

A very well made lock. Unfortunately it does not fit VW Transporters as the coaming around the speedo is too high and it prevents the log from closing. The end of the lock touches the windscreen so cannot be adjusted. I returned the lock and got a speedy refund.

Great Product
Brilliant way to attach my Via 53 Tom Tom Satnav to the air vent. The Satnav can be removed with one hand and the mount with two hands in 20 seconds. There are no trailing wires which there are on windscreen mounts.
On the official Tom Tom site and through several stores this costs £29.99 so it's a great buy.
