Fitting the spit to the rough plumbing.
Great looking faucet and amazing quality. The chrome finish is as good as it gets. But installation is a bit tricky since there is very little adjustment possible for the thickness of the wall. If the not-supplied nipple to connect the faucet to the rough pipe is not exact length, the faucet will not seal properly.
I had to get a few different 1/2” nipples until one came close but not perfect; Grohe could have designed an easier fitting to seal the end to the faucet than a simple O-ring. Eventually it was connected. That’s why I have a 4-star rating.
