Best superhero group film so far....

This first Avengers film is probably the best so far, and an important cannon piece for the Marvel film universe. The battle for New York; which is referenced in all of the subsequent Marvel films and TV shows, happens in this film. If you are new to Marvel films; this one is a must see, you will learn who all of the primary Marvel Universe characters are in this film. The story is compelling, good performances, and it's beautifully filmed (it's worth the extra expense to see this film in 3D, it was a spectacular experience).
