Feast of Sunlight by Norman Van Aken
I can't recommend this book highly enough. The analogy comparing the structure of food to the human body, is worth the cost. I have given a copy to many of the cooks who worked for me. 20 years later , the recipes are vibrant & valid.
An excellent intro to new world cooking from 1 of the innovators.

Easy on the fingers & the ears!
Although I am quite familiar w/the John Pearse line of strings, this is my 1st time using the "Silk & Bronze". Installed on a late 19th c Washburn, it really lets the guitar shine. The guitar was originally designed for Nylon strings; a bit of reinforcement & these lower tension strings allows better volume, projection & overtones. I will use them again for young players who haven't developed hand strength, yet want to enjoy the sound improvement.

excellent shirt
although the sizing runs to the small side, the shirts are soft & durable. excellent dye saturation & will be long lasting & wear well!
